Good questions Amanda.
I know from other's posts that phals like a temp drop at night in order to produce blooms.
During the day, just from the lights, etc, my 'chids get into the mid-upper 80's during the day and then drop to the low 70's upper 60's at night. They have lots of growth, but no blooming ( I have a feeling they may need more intense lighting). I always have a fan going on the orchids too for air circulation.
Someone once told me their trick to growing phals..."If I'm comfortable, then so are my phals!" As for the catt and onc, I really don't have much to say, so maybe someone else will chime in.
