May Bloomers in the Basement

I got the urge to take pics and share this morning while doing my AM orchid chores. Lots of buds about to pop, but here is what is currently in bloom... I have high expectations for my catasetum collection in the middle of the room the year

Cattleya Iricolor - 14 blooms on 3 inflorescences. Powerfully fragrant, unfortunately smells like a floral bologna to my nose

The basement's natural temp change throughout the seasons make it very easy to mimic seasonal temp changes in this unnatural environment.

I also gradually adjust the photoperiod from 11 hours in mid winter to 14 hours in mid summer.

Eye-chee-wawa! What a collection you have. The hermit in me would never emerge from the depths of such happiness, color and fragrance. All the fotos are beautiful but the Hoya takes my breath away. Bravo.

I use standard 48 x 72 inch wire racks with 2'x4' Botanicare Rack Trays.

OMG - what a setup!
The Cattleya iricolor is a treat. Interestingly, my Cattleya perrinii has a fragrance like bologna as well.
I also like your shot of the Hoya. What sort of camera do you use?
