well if that light has been used for years without any negative effect that is fine but I doubt they have had much benefit either.

In the desciption it says it gives out the wrong light spectrum for growing plants and should be used for 10-30 seconds to achieve UV-A curing.

It's what my dentist used to cure my denture glue.

I would bet money that if you replaced your 250 watt curing bulb with bulb designed for growing plants you could save electricity and get more growth.

Thanks! maybe that is why they went out of business, plus they were expensive. will see how the new bulbs do
