Mounting phal using palm tree fiber

Hi
I mounted my first orchid, a phal, to a piece of bark found on the riverbank (therefore not sure what tree it came from!)
I can't find sphag moss here where I live, so I used some finer from palm trees...is that ok? I hope I did a good job and not just doomed my plant!
I mounted it yesterday and used something similar to fish line to keep it on it.

I think it looks great using the coconut fiber. I love mounts!

Thanks for the compliments! Unfortunately it didn't work out for me

I could tell it was going downhill by the day.. So I took it off and to my horror I found a slug in the mount and mealybugs on the plant!! I'm treating it with ethanol alcohol (don't sell isopropyl in stores) and it's potted in leca...let's see what happen!!
