Mini Phals on Slash Pine Root
Today I traveled north on Krome Ave. and stopped at a few mom and pop shops. They all advertise huge sales on orchids. Some know what a sale is and some don't. Usually, they have a table with a few mistreated, unidentified plants. One had some nice mini phals 2 for $10.00. That wasn't bad I thought..... Never did the mini phal thing before....so, I took a couple. They even had tags, "little gem stripes" and "new coffee". These names may or may not be true to the plants but at least they had tags. I mounted them on a 20 yr old chunk of indestructible slash pine root with a small tillandsia already growing on top. Kinda cool I thought, we'll see how they do.
Oh, the unflowered mount to the right of the mini phals is Yamadara Redland Sunset,
