mounting phal's the beginning

Okay here is 4 of my phal's mounted. I used oak log piece that my tortoise does not care for.

4 in 1, makes it easier to water all in one go

I don't know what your conditions are like but you might find you need a little moss to stop them drying to fast. Most people make the mistake of too much on the first mounts (I did) but depending on your climate you might need some.

Im hoping with the green house coming in I may onlt have to do it now every other day.

I have been misting mornings and they just got thoroughly soaked yesterday.

My hope for mounting them all together was also that hopefully they would kind of keep each others humidity high.

Looks great! Are they complementary colors? It will would be fabulous to have them all bloom at the same time. Agree on a little extra moss (at least for now). They look a little dry right now.

Well they were soaked log and all for around 30-45 but my moss should be in soon.

3 of the 4 are from carter and holmes so they do have names. But a certain 3 year old great nephew came through and pulled them all out... so I really wont know until they spike next year and hopefully someone can help me re identify.....

Also my mini green house will be in today so once I put my humidifier in there as well hopefully it will stay nice and humid for them all

LOL... the squirrels do this to me. I try to photograph blooms as soon as possible to help with identification later after a squirrel (or maybe it's chipmunks) discard all the tags.

Oh no squirrels are not able to get on my porch bc my dog does not allow it. But the nephew oy that child puts the *honer* in honery whew.

Moss is not helping mine at all. All 3 have it. I give them a good drenching and the next day the moss is totally toasted!
