Mounting (Part 1) Male
Default Mounting in Miami (Part 1)

I am blessed to live in South Florida where the weather allows me to mount orchids on trees. I also like to mount on just about anything. I drive my partner crazy. I stop for logs and have tools in the trunk in case I come across a nice piece of wood.

Here are some of orchids I have mounted.

I agree. Awesome! I currently have three, wish I had a greenhouse and more space.

I love it. I'm mounting more and more myself. Will post pictures at a later stadium.

LOVE them! I've started mounting more and more of my own orchids now. I love it when they look natural. You did some really nice work here! Thanks so much for sharing too!

I noticed you have some green moss on a log. I need some but have noticed so many different types of moss available. I really like the green stuff. Where do I get it and what's it called...besides moss?

Those are all beautifully done! I especially love the ones with the resurrection fern - I want to find a suitable piece of wood within my reach that has those so I can try that - and the one on the pottery. I'd like to try one with a mossy old brick I found in the yard, but I wasn't sure how well it would adapt to hanging, or if the brick would suck too much moisture from the plant.
