My first mounted orchid to bloom.
I just started mounting orchids a little less than a year ago. This is the first one that I mounted myself that has bloomed. Rlc. Lisa Taylor Gallis 'Nora' is a cute little compact cattleya with flowers a little under 4". It's on a cork slab although I've started using cork tubes now. I'm amazed at how quickly the orchids attach themselves to the mount. I took the ties off, six weeks after mounting it.

That is a lovely flower.
You have the right humidity in your atmosphere that retain moisture in the bark to make the roots cling and imbed itself.

Nice job Jeff! I'm a big fan of mounts, not having to worry so much about rot, and they look fantastic.
