Default A new mixed mount

I need to take something to my orchid meeting this week for the christmas raffle so I threw this little number together. I think it's quite sweet and thought I'd share for others who want ideas The three orchids on it from left to right are Liparis reflexa, Dendrobium kingianum and Bulbuphyllum shepherdii.

Default Phenomenal Mounting!!

Wow, greengarden, I would like to be in on this raffle - The plants look phenomenal. BTW - how do you get your moss to grow on the mounts? I have a Sophronitis coccinea and they grow on moss mats naturally. They almost require this environment to do well.
Do you have a mount with the moss established? And is this just moss you collected from your yard? I lifted some the other day, and have it in three small trays lined with damp sphagnum moss and so far, for the last 4 days they seem to have adjusted well. I really want to do this, so any assistance would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Steve

The moss is just bush moss of various kinds that I collect, mostly from my garden. It isn't growing on the wood but will eventually start to after a while, at this stage it is just tied on with the orchids using soft green tie wire(I don't like fishing line as I find it fiddly and it cuts in more I think). I usually leave some of the old roots and tie the orchid on using these and leave the new roots free so they don't get crushed and can attach themselves freely. As the orchids roots grow they will also grow through the moss and hold it in place too.
