Orchid Mount - My 2nd Attempt

That is a happy, healthy phal..you did a GREAT job mounting this orchid. I have two mounted phals, and both of them have roots growing onto the wood of the mount.....BettyE

Nice mount. Your Phal should attach fine. The only thing I would do the next time is raise it up a little higher for the new roots as the plant gets larger. When this guy hangs down too far just attach this mount to another larger one. I grow some of mine like this and just have to water more often.

Note to remember...mount phals upside down or sideways so the water does not sit in the crown. In nature they grow this way.
