The plants came in from OrchidsAmore today. Got the buy 2 get one free deal. Was going to give the other one for a friend recovering from Chemo to cheer her up. All three were supposed to be from 4 inch pots but but one was much smaller with only less than 2 inches roots; with remnant of old sphagnum moss in the roots while the 2 other has barks.
They insisted that it was from a 4 inch pot. They should have advertised buy 2 get 0.5 instead

they are healthy plants...the two larger ones have already bloomed ... hopefully it grows into a large specimen and get established in your environment ...good luck
Yupe just uploaded, all were bare rooted and bagged in sphag. The larger ones has traces of bark while the smaller guy has old sphags around it's small roots.
Oh well lesson learned. Gave the larger one to my friend of course and will be mounting the rest.
They look really healthy though. These are REALLY tough plants, so they so should bounce back nicely.
Thanks. I am new to orchids and was looking around to try for mounting. I thought brassavola would be a great to start with for since they are tough plants. More importantly, I really like their form; both foliage and flower.
The plants are healthy, no doubt about it. I just felt cheated, that's all.

You definitely picked the best type of orchids for mounting. I think you will be pleased in the end!
