Here are some updated photos of my tree mounted Stanhopea tigrina,as i had promised you!
One of the 2 Zamia pseudoparasitica got moisture stressed as the moss got dislodged from its roots and wasnt being kept sufficiently moist, which ruined its leafs but the roots seem ok so far and it should hopefully recover...I really hope so!
And here is the watering system i use for these epiphytes,a horizontally positioned microsprinkler, positioned that way to have a vertical spray of water so as to water the most length of trunk possible.
So far, they seem to need and like the daily watering they receive. I hope they pass the winter without problems and that hopefully my Stanhopea tigrina will bloom the coming year and amaze me!
I will soon be adding more orchids on this tree to cover more of its trunk and better keep my Zamia pseudoparasitica's roots moist!
