Talking Remember this Den Mount? It's spiking!

Den. lindleyi tend to sulk when re-mounted or re-potted. This is the picture of it just after purchase and re-mount.

Sunday morning, I was inspecting and feeding the orchids when I saw what looked like a spike forming. So I got on the ladder and went over it with a keen eye and what do you know....SPIKES! It only took 2 years!

This am, I counted 12 and I suspect there are at least 4 or 5 more that I don't see yet!

I'm hoping to take this one to our show in May. I'll post another updated pic as soon as the spikes get bigger.

Congrats, Sure is satisfying when you tried to get them to bloom for so long, than they bloom.....
