Beacon Bond 527 vs E6000?
Default Beacon Bond 527 vs E6000?

So I am relatively (yearling) new to the planted terrarium scene. I am working on a dart frog tank and would like to mount some plants (namely epiphytes, bromeliads.. and ironically enough, probably no orchids, but I'm sure you guys know a lot about mounting plants is why I am here). So I read a lot of people use this E6000 glue to mount their orchids (link: E-6000®). I went out and bought a tube. I came home and while looking through my art supplies I came across a tube of something called Beacon Bond 527. Here's the link (the packaging on mine is older, it must be at least a decade old): Beacon 527 Multi-Use Glue, Adhesive Product Details. Has anybody used this stuff? How does it compare to the E6000?

Thanks!!

Personally, I would not use any glue to attach orchids of other plants to a substrate, as they all have some degree of toxicity.

I think mechanical attachments like spike clips, fishing line, wire and the like is a better idea. When I use EcoWeb substrate, I cut into it, making a pocket, and simply shove the base into that.
