Default Newly mounted Iwanagara.......

Hi i am new here, just started collecting orchids about 2 months ago, rescued this little lady from Lowes this afternoon and mounted her in a grapewood log i had that i had attached to a wooden base, hope she grows. I live in upstate NY near Lake george in the southern adirondacks........hope the winter doesnt prove fatal.......LOL......thanks for the great forum.............tony

Looks like rather expensive . How do you maintain the outer
looks when you water it? What is grape wood? Are grapes bare on those trees? I thought grapes are creepers.

Your mount looks very beautiful.
I visited Lake George a few years ago & we rented a log cabin there for 4 days.. saw my first ever chipmonks!
ps: you need to give your plant lots of light.

yes i just put the mount there to take a pic, hopefully my sunroom with additional lighting will be enough, time will tell, thanks for the welcome...........t bone
