It definitely looks happy! One of the members in my local orchid society is growing this. He keeps a light layer of live spanish moss draped over his mount and he said he helps out with the humidity and his has really responded to it. Not that you are having problems, but if you ever do then this might be something to try.

Thanks, Becca! Good suggestion. I have used Spanish moss before for that purpose, plus it looks nice. I will have to remember that!

Thanks Calvin! It is pretty hot and bright in my shade house. Probably about as bright as you would grow a phal, but not as bright as a vanda.

Looks great Susan!!
Mine, eh, not so much. I've had it a little over a year and it was growing up until the winter came. I kept it outside but for fear of the cold and low humidity, moved it into my garage during the cold spells. That's probably what put it in decline. lack of humidity (running a heater in there don't help either).
I'm in the process of making a section of my pergola a more shaded/ high humidity area. Basically I'm closing off the light and wind exposure, and adding water elements like bromeliads underneath. Maybe even put humidity trays under it.
What I haven't been doing, and need t up my game, is water more frequently.
