Default 09 Driftwood Project Update

I had to title this one differently since I have to keep track of 2 different projects. So here is the scoop on the 09 project. I have had to make minor moves of this piece since the summer sun kept trying to burn some leaves but I managed to keep the chids safe. I think they love me for that.

The den on the bottom left has been blooming and blooming like crazy. It was a little noid I picked up from HD a while back and just wired the whole little slat it was growing on onto the wood. Roots took off and has not stopped blooming for me 6 spikes right now. The Den Kuniko bloomed soon after it was mounted and I'll guess that I'll have to wait till next year for it to bloom again? Salaya Mini Stripe bloomed with 1 spike but someone bit off the spike and I had to put that spike in a vase...not loosing my blooms! BC Maikai has not decided what to do yet except grow more and will probably bloom as the sun comes around getting more west sunlight. The Blc Melinda Wheeler x C Aclaidiae has a sheath on it and I'm hopeful.

Anyway this piece looks so good at my front doorway. I have another area in my to be extended garden that will probably be Driftwood Project #3. Already mentioned to a friend to be on the lookout for a nice piece of big driftwood for me. I have a feeling he'll come through. Time lapse on this project was April 21 - Sept 25th.
