Heres some pics, before a really long wait until the moss takes over. I have collected 3 different types of mosses around my town.

Covered by Sphagnum moss, fir bark, and twine to hold it down till moss and eventually roots take care of that...

I plan on having this mound against a wall on a porch or something so that it doesn't get sun really.
I will also have lithophytic ferns and other plants crawling up the neck of the piece to give it somemore green up top.
