Even minis need quite large mounts. I have a phal parishii (very small, the leaves are 5cm long) on a 10x8cm mount. Despite the small size of the orchid, the roots have completely taken over the front and back of the mount, which has become nearly invisible. I take no credit for it, I bought it that way from an excellent ebay seller (lepantes)

Thanks, it's growing downward already
I kept a pahl parishii for a friend and they are very small indeed, I gonna look for something bigger otherwise I will find a way to make it bigger
By the way the mount is very thick, something like 4 cm.
I was also thinking to use some different inert material such clay to ease the search. Do they like this kind of porous materials as cork?
