Default What is this material and where can I find it?

Hey All,
This may fall under the "dumb question" category, but does anyone know what this black netting material is and where I can find it? Thanks any for any help.

No idea but someone here probably does. Wow! You could have a whole wall full of chids growing their little roots off

It almost looks like plastic poultry fence, but not quite? I don't think Lowes or Home Depot keep it in stock, but you can buy online. Tenax makes some.

Home depot does carry a similar utility fencing; only the pattern is square like temporary construction fecing instead of the usual hex shape.

i have thing like that at my home, but with square holes. i use it to screen of the window in my cats room. its like a plastic coated chicken wire - thus rust proof

p/s : i throw away a tree fern slab when i un-mount a chid. i dunno that is a tree fern slab - shame on me!

Look for gutter guards at HD or Lowe's

I have a number of plants with this being used as the support. Very easy to use too...staple one side on the back of the mount, place your plant and pull the guard around the front so that it can wrap around the back and staple it there too...done!

Thanks Sue,
Lowes carries the vinyl gutter guard by Amerimax. After looking at the picture of it on the Lowes website, I think we have a winner. Picking some up today.

You can also use what is called "hardware cloth," which is a metal mesh. It looks very similar to the gutter guard you are using, and might be less expensive.
