Default mount advice for Pleurothallis grobyi

First off, thanks to the forum for identifying my P. grobyi. I decided to remount it since the old fern plaque was disintegrating and I think it needs some more space. When I remounted it I didn’t tighten the line as tight as the previous mount. I believe the plant is still secure. Will this be problem for future growth of roots. I also added a small layer of New Zealand sphagnum. The humidity in my tank is 80 plus with a small fan and I spray twice a day.

I also noticed two snails on my orchid and one on the glass. Typically, I bleach my broms but orchids seem delicate. Should I be worried? I isolated the old mount in a cup with apples and potatoes and didn’t notice any more snails after two days. Hopefully those were the only snails on my orchid because my tank was pest free.

Sounds like you've mounted it properly, as long as it not loose on the mount. Watch for those snails - they sometimes seem to appear out of nowhere and woe be your flowers if they do - they can destroy a whole crop of flowers on a miniature in a night.
