Mounting orchids
Default Mounting orchids

I am new to this so here goes, what orchids can be mounted on cork or what? can all orchids be mounted?

Well, lots of orchids can. Some don't do well mounted. I'd say the easiest list is the ones that do not do well: Paphs, Phrags, Cischweinfia, Dracula, most Maxillaria, Masdies., Jewell Orchids, etc. Probably there are some others like Cimbidium that won't do well mounted as well. Other than that, I'd try whatever you have and see how it does.

Any orchid that grows as an epiphyte will do well mounted.

I agree with epiphiytes, particulary smaller plants. Large epiphytes can be difficult to get started and manage on cork slabs.
