Yes, it is realy amazing.
I have 3 from the nurser in April, they are 3 years old now, one of them has 4 pikes this year.
According to the nurser's statement, for the reason of extinction, the parent had been divided into parts later.

Thanks so much for sharing your technique Edward. I am what you call a "visual learner" and the step by step instruction is crystal clear. Makes me want to go out and mount something...lol. BTW your plants are awesome

schilleriana type 1
Broad leaf, strong fragrance only in the morning.
I bought it from the east coast of Hwalin.
I like its leaves more than its flowers.

Hi Edward,
That is truly beautiful, both the leaves and the flowers.
I hope mine will eventually blossom.
Al
P.S.
what does your by-line at the bottom of your posts translate to?

schilleriana type 2
Narrow leaf, from TKB, but I don't know the exact location of TKB. Can somebody help me?
I got this from a big clump.
It took me a little bit time to grow new roots and leaves.

It is an old saying from Confucius.
" Orchid grows in a remote valley, its fragrance is spontaneous, not for anyone."
It implyed that a gentlman should cultivate his moral chareacter, but not for the appearance or to be a dissembler.
Chinese has growed orchids for a long long time.
In Chinese culture orchid means a gentleman.
My translation is too terrible, hope you can understand it.

Thanks Edward, yes, I got it, along with the implication.

Phal. philippinensis
This species seems not very popular, but few phals have stripes on leaves.
Mine is very easy to have basal keikis, so I decided to grow them together.

Beautiful leaves Edward, well worth having in a collection just for that. The flowers look a lot like P. amabilis.
