Steep your slab about 3~7 days.
Refresh water when get darker.

Use moss to keep the humidity.
Let the moss soak in the water,then squeeze water out of it.

Very informative and the final product is very natural looking. As your previous pictures show, your method is certainly appreciated by the plants, you have some beauties!

This is a very strage species I collect among the local Taiwanses aphrodites.
Leaves are so tiny than the other amabilis or aphrodite.
Many people are confused between these two species,
There are somethings different from lips and callus.
In terms of geogarphy, aphrodite only distrobutes in Phillipines and Taiwan.
This species has almost disappeared in the wild for 50 years.Very few documents or records left, the reason of
extinction were collected by human and mixed with other species.
No one can confirm the species he owns is correct or not.

According to the grand old man's memory, the Taiwanese aphrodite's habitates were located only in the south. Hengchun peninsula and lanyu islet.Plants are still differnt in appearaces from the differnt area.
This strange species grows undersized and in clumps.

Nere mind.
What you see is made of tree furn.
Tree furn is very common where I live, but it could be rare in other place.
It needs warm,humid climate to grow.
Or you can use cork, branch instead of it.

These plants were stem propagation from a nurser in Tai-Tong, who claimed the parent was found in the wild about 50 years ago.
The Taiwanese native aphrodite has one of the characters, the older it becomes, the more pikes it grows.
The third pic shows this parent was in blooms in 2001 at the age of 47.
