Talking cork

I just got my hands on a 18" x 4' slab of virgin cork bark at a pet store of all places. am using fo a terrarium backdrop for mounting. will post pics as soon as my camera stops acting up. I'm gonna have alot of fun with this one

That is going to be fantastic! The large pet stores are an excellent source of mounting material.

keep us posted i wanna try cork , i live in Ohio, we have streams, and hardwood forest, there is some nice dried peices and driftwood in the streams in my woods out back on our property,,,im gonna go looking for a nice peice or two when i can walk again ,, damn motercycle wreck , i just had surgery on my smashed foot, i can dream and watch you guys on the web until then!!! good luck!!!!!

If anyone ever comes across a piece of cork like this, please let me know!! 18" by 4', that's 4 feet! Man, what I could do with that!

WOW that's a hunk!!!

I bought some cork slabs from Jims Orchid Supply (a sponsor) and he had several sizes with him at WOC. Im sure you all could contact him to see what he has and just cut some into smaller pieces. That's what I did for a couple. I found some on Ebay and although it was the size they stated it was not very thick. I'll stick to my suppliers. Green Barn has some too. Supply changes all the time. My chids love the cork!!
