I am new to this site. I have been keeping orchids for about 5 years. We are moving next month and I am planning on putting up a greenhouse. Am looking at the atlas scholar 16x30. Does anyone have any experience with atlas?
thanks

It looks like a nice structure, but to know if it's appropriate for your situation, it would be better to know where you will be living.

For example, the 8mm polycarbonate covering might be great for some parts of the country, but woefully (and expensively) inadequate for others, if routine heating will be needed in winter.

I don't know about the brand you are looking at buying. I can tell you that I live in North Florida and even here it can be expensive to keep your green house heated. I opted for a much smaller 6' x 8' with 10 mm panels. It is well sealed and has heat but the power bills tell me it's there. I have learned how to squeeze a lot of orchids into that space and loved every minute of it. What ever you opt for, I am sure you will enjoy it.

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

Location makes a huge difference. If the greenhouse must withstand snow, it will need to be designed differently from one that never sees snow.
