i don't mind wet or moist leaves, as long as they dry completely well before dusk.....my mister sat on the bench, aimed upward, and the plants near it stayed moist....the young vandas liked it, and so did the paph and prag babies....its just a matter of creating small ecosystems in your greenhouse....my gh is 8x16 and technically a leanto, as it connects with house and garage, giving me limited sun....it takes some engineering!
and this is where I would customarily praise my jaybird 700 series mister....expensive but my first one broke down at the 3 year term and needed a motor. it was only $100 and they shipped the next day....I have another, again broke down at the 3 year term....but when I called them, the new motor was $165 and they recommend a new pump too....total $210 plus shipping....which causes me to question the persistence of this toy....which broke on the hottest day of this summer 110 degrees, and on a day when I was gone all day.....so, it is still sitting unrepaired....umm, it cost $600, used 3 years, and they want $300 for parts and me do the repair....I sure wouldn't buy a car that did that....
jaybird has done shot themselves in the foot....with me. I will not buy another, and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. go for a good overhead mist machine...

I don't know where you are in texas, tim....I am upwards of Amarillo....the best I have been able to achieve is a 15% difference, and that is great up here....even 10% helps....the orchids are ok, keep lots of floor plants and I hand mist now....when I am gone, I plan on just putting everything on the floor and wet them good.
