secret garden
Walked into one of my school's greenhouses on my way home from class...blown away! What a hidden gem. There's a gorgeous rainforest conservatory in the front with giant, amazonian lily pads, vanilla specimens and a few corpse flowers etc. I was too in awe to take pictures until I got to the back. Luckily there are many other greenhouses on campus to explore. Everything is so pristine and thoroughly labeled. Where are all these plant nerds hiding and why aren't we friends?
P.S. My fingers were itching to pinch off that lueddemanniana keiki. Orchids bring out the worst in me

Cornell University. It's in upstate NY so the conservatory will be even more of a coveted space once winter hits! I visited again today and I met a member of the maintenance crew. The conservatory is student run. Sign me up! Today was cloudy so they had the overhead lights on, better quality pics to come.
