Thinking a bit more about a GH design, and the idea of a washing station, so cold water faucet and sink, has come up. Obviously, there will be more debris than with a "normal" sink. So I wonder whether there are any words of wisdom on size, any special features, single vs dual (I think single basin is sufficient). I don't think warm water is necessary; or an instant hot water heater could be retrofitted.
We buried a 55 gallon plastic barrel and with holes in the bottom it acted like a dry well. We had a bar sink with cold water only. Not fancy but functional.
The Chief is a problem solver, much like McGyver. Also, last week a misting system question came up. You can buy a floor fan and attach a misting system to it far cheaper than buying a unit.
