Inspiring words! Thank you. But first I have to buy a house with enough land I guess. That in itself is daunting.

and the saga continues!
today, we installed our exhaust fan (it is huge, as it gets hot here in texas!) we finished all the framing on the side wall, and put up the polycarbonate....oh it looks so good!
we just sat and admired our work (mostly paul's) for a good bit, I have to see if there is room for a couple chairs somehow! probably will be at first, it will take me a while to restock it, lol!

no photo today, but we did work on the knee wall for the entrance wall....I HATE CEMENT! nasty stuff! we have business in the big city of Amarillo for the next couple days, so I cannot do any work except in my head....I draw and build in my head and work out most of the kinks...I cant wait to continue!

ALMOST THERE!
we worked hard and late the last couple days, and I have been weak as a wet noodle!
we put in a door!! WHOOPIE! finished the trim on roof and long side. finished putting polycarbonate around the fan. framed in the front and put in passive shutters. had the nat gas run to the heater and got it connected.
yes, we made mistakes, but when you are working with an older house, you run into problems! we made lots of our own errors and had to tear out and re-do them.
here it is so far!
its great to see it grow!! I cant wait to fill it!

I helped some friends move a couple of weeks ago. I felt like getting a big door magnet for my vehicle: AN OLD GUY WITH A TRUCK MOVES YOU .
