Dear vjo, thank you for your attention to my topic.
I'm so sorry for "kidneys" because of course I meant word " burgeon". T-9 some time don't help
But maybe any were in Universe live some orchids with kidneys

It happened Apocalypse for orchids. They all died. Was a very sunny day, Greenhouse nobody opened for ventilation, the temperature there has risen till 70C (158F). All orchids, every one, dead and charred.
I'm so sorry these plants, they was very big, with me they was almost 8 years, they was 10 years old. They felt so good in the new place during last 3 week, everyone, absolutely, even orchids without roots began to grow roots, they was like strong hedgehogs from the roots.
But after 8 hours they died. It was very hard to write about this, it is hard to think about them. I do not know yet whether I will start orchids, I'm painfully sorry for the lost this plants. Now I do not have another place for new orchids. I don't know how to fight with the conditions of the crematorium in the Greenhouse.
First photo is day before Apocalypses, second photo last photo in this topic.

Oh goodness!! So sorry. Did you look at the roots? Sometimes there is still enough life in the roots and rizomes and you will see new growth from them. It is a slow tedious process but it may be worth a try, if you haven't already thrown them away. Good luck....Jean

I'm so sorry to hear that. I know how it feels. I put some Cattleya seedlings out one night for the rain and forgot to bring them back in the next morning before leaving for work.
