Everything is glass expect the bottom piece. The bottom piece is made out of plexiglass just incase i drop something, i don't want it to shatter. and the frame is made out of metal. I water all of my orchids outside of the greenhouse and the pots all sit in saucers so i don't get thaaat... much water on the floor. I do spray often though and that water just sits on the bottom till it evaporates or until i whip it down.
The shelf inside the greenhouse is made from wooden planks.

You said you don't have any where to hang some of your orchids. Why don't you try some of the suction cups and see if they will stay on the glass. They come with hangers on them as long as you don't have anything heavy on them it should work.

If the shelves are wood, why not screw some cup hangers to the underside?

I wish I had something like this. I have a kitten who feels she owns the house, and feels she is free to sit on, or dig in all of my orchids.

Thats a good idea. and i plan on doing that once i get some lights in the bottom area. its a little too dark down there at the moment.
