I finally am getting around to posting some pix tonight. This is what I have been working on this fall. It has been so worth it. This is my sanctuary. My peaceful spot. It isn't much but it is mine and it is already rewarding me.

Exterior at night. I have a second layer over the gh kit to help with our winter temps.

Starting on the inside

I have since tied up all the cords so that they are above the shelves.

It is only 6x8 but a foundation was sunk about 3 feet down to give me more space. I use my shadehouse shelves and stack them.

Wow! That is fantastic! Your plants and orchids look so happy in there! The snow makes a nice contrast.

The original kit was only 200. I had the insulated panels that we framed and sunk in the ground. Then took the 4' x 8' sheets of glass that I have been storing to eventually build my big greenhouse and framed them to skin it with a second layer that was windproof. In the front we built a frame and had to use plastic to make a small "breezeway" to insulate. It is my happy place.

That would be perfect for me. Mine is 3 x 6 and doesn't seal well. I can't use it during the winter.

I am impressed. I had to look twice. You have an outer shelter of plastic and an inner glasshouse, right? Would like to know how cold it gets outside, how warm you keep it inside and how you provide heating?
For me my greenhouse is my retreat haven, a place to relax after work and to blow the cobwebs away. I cherish people who work to make their dreams come true.
