I put up a small 6 x 8 this fall. Sank an insulated foundation 3 feet in the ground. I had some 4 x 8 foot tempered glass panels that I framed and added to the exterior once it started getting cold at night and built a plastic breezeway off the front. It has been below zero here and it holds 55-60 inside. I have an electric coil heater that was used in a basement for heat and it isn't killing me on the bill yet. Holding 60-80% humidity. Took my shade cloth off all but one side of the roof and it gets about 100 on a sunny day. So far so good. Double stacked the shelved I made and I have plenty of room to expand yet if I add more lights. Luckily the hubby's dad was an electrician so I don't have to pay to get that hooked up. Just the bill. I am getting lots of sheaths and buds this fall.
Wow, your setup looks wonderful! I'm thinking about buying the same greenhouse. Do you know what size the main shade cloth is that you draped over the greenhouse? It looks like a nice fit. Do you know if there is a difference between the "Brighton Hybrid 4x6 greenhouse" and the Palram Snap and Grow 4x6 Greenhouse" they both look like the exact same product, expect the Hyrbid is more expensive.
RJ, have you found a type of circulation fan you like better than others? I'm starting my own greenhouse, and I'm wondering what fans to buy. Any info is appreciated!
