Very nice greenhouse. I just had a same brand Palram greenhouse installed but we choose a smaller one 4x6, due to space constraints. My hubby assembled it for me and installed 2 200mm case fans powered on a 40w solar panel. We have been struggling keeping the greenhouse cool. I installed misting system and shade cloth. Hubby also built nice shelves for me from closet shelving units. We just finally finished everything tonight. The orchids have been in there for a week on a temp fan power and so far so good. I had to double up on shade cloth and that helped with temps. I'd be interested to know what fans you have and how you keep temps down.

I got pictures of the new place and will update you all..its the best build I made yet and took me 4 days of digging the grass up, laying down 1 half ton of pebbles hand delivered 1 50 lb bag at a time, setting bricks, cutting wood, fingers and toes included, moving the plants and the greenhouse in 1 day. Set up is taking much longer bec Im tired ......

and jane I have left some panels off the sides as I have yet to deal with the problem of it becoming superheated. I have ordered an aluminet 60% cloth this time for it. 50% just was too much light overall for most of what I have. Some adjustments will have to be made to what I have no doubt as many will not tolerate 100 degree plus heat. Im thinking a swamp cooler but then the cooler will cost more than the greenhouse. Hmm yeah......at least I can leave the roof intact and they wont get bombed by rain sleet snow or hail anymore. just politely fried

I put brick floor in so I can keep it wetted down like a big clay pot to keep the heat down and houmidity up. you see its full of crap already too....

my plants are patiently waiting for me to be done

its the same one as original. I paid 649 USD delivered for it. Put about 200 bucks in the floor. Decked or bricked about the same cost. Another hundred or so for the shade cloths. Plants not included as we lost track of that a long long time ago. ...

if I hadnt had someone around to wash my mouth out with soap I would have gotten it done faster

That's totally doable!!!! It's officially on the budget...let the saving begin. I could use it during the winter for cold crops. I live in Colorado.

its a nice starter unit. If a big wind comes along my neighbor will have it. I'm going to take pictures when its done with all the plants inside all dressed up. Add it to the home owners insurance policy as an outdoor structure. Get wind, hail, and flood damage coverage. I need to strap it down with some hurricane ties and may be required to do so anyway. I havent read the details of insuring it yet.

Pay for my next greenhouse full of new plants when this one flys away
