Well, You are the one that is attacking according to nationality. You insult my character and knowledge. You can trash talk how education doesn't equate to real world knowledge, but that is not true. Good luck with your misguided endeavours. I am sure eventually people will catch on to what you are really doing.

When do you will realize that I do that because I'm part of an ONG that protect Atlantic Forest? It's wrong to save the forests? Give me a break, you are so pathetic with this kind of thinking. We are trying to do somehting good here. This year we finally got the papers to transform the area ina a protected park and we will continue to protect the forest.
And for your information, I do that work with fishes too. Now I deserve the eletric chain, no? The same way that we reproduct orchids to reintroduce then into the wild, we do the same with the fishes. Both are in danger here, we are only trying to help.
But you are too good to do this kind of work, no? There is no profit, we do because we love where we live. And you, what do you do to save the world besides criticize who do that? Do you only work for money? Here we don't.
At least I know that here native orchids and fishes are taking a good care. Oh, we'll start to do that with corals next year.
Rather than criticizing others, why don't you do something useful for our planet that man are destroying? We are actually trying to save what little we have.
And IF you know to read, I've never mentioned nationality here. You are doing that now, and it's racism. You've accused me of theft, racism... what else? You are so perfect living in your world... gimme a break.
You are so pathetic doing this, I am sorry for you.

Thanks Sonya
This topic is to share my plants, not my work with them.
I invite you all to come here and know the work that we do.

I love your collection. I would be very interested to learn more about the organization you are associated with; where can I find some literature? As I am sure all members here are, I am a big supporter and advocate of conservation; which in my opinion ex situ practices, such as those you are practicing should be applauded. It is good for the protection of the species we grow, and spreads awareness; not to mention growing beautiful plants is good for the soul, for you and for all those that witness them.

Such phenomenal photos -
This goes to show, politics are woven into everything, even our beloved orchids!
Personally, I support environmental protection and the protection of the individual species' DNA reserve. If removing a plant that is threatened from one part of the forest, so that it can flourish in another area without causing damage, I am all for it. I don't live there, and I will not make value judgments on another's lifestyle until I have lived in that culture for a while.
But, this made me think -and of course, I have to ask - If we can't respect each other, how can we be expected to respect the environment?
