Some pics from work...
Half of the main orchid house completed. The roof had rotted, sagging 2x4's, spanning 12', cover with plastic lattice and shade cloth. I tore it all out and upgraded it to 2x6's, perpendicularly framed with 1x4's, and the corrugated plastic on to (this area has the grey plastic panels), and then 60% shade cloth underneath, new sprinklers...
This is the current other half being worked on. Using CLEAR panels, and same 60% shade cloth underneath..
And here are some of the other areas...
And this is our repotting stations...
The garbage cans hold bulk media (charcoal, stalite, sponge rock, orchiata)

Oh my, I am browsing the OB on my phone, but this thread needs a real computer screen to take in all this loveliness!

Beautiful shade house(es)! Your subject says "Some pics from work". Is this your home or your workplace? Just curious because I work in Hollywood. Great job by the way!

Gage, I'm the property manager on a private residence. We have over 1.5 acres, with a preserve like presence. We have 6 water features, butterfly gardens, a tortoise pen that is 20' X 25', 20 fruits trees, mini pineapple plantations, and vegetable garden. I love my job!

May I please move in there! It looks like heaven to me. My husband is property manager for a guy's hunting cabin. Food plots, lots of trails, hardwood plantations. Of course the cabin itself is worth $500 thousand and then there is the barn that has been turned into a man cave. It's nice to have access to it.
