Norma, these box fans have 3 settings. We are running them on high, and the plants are just barely moving.
Keep in mind fan placement as you see we have them up high, so the bulk of the air movement is above the plants.

Nim, Dowianas are tough to grow down here in south florida. I found that by using a media the holds moisture longer, and less light works for me.
I have mine growing in mostly orchiata, and in the shadiest area of the orchid house. When they bloom, I wait until they are almost fully open, and then move them to my paphs/phals growing area.
I suspect the reason they didn't fully open was due to lack of humidity, or just the shock from outside to inside a/c.
Good luck, Brady

Hi
Saw your pics. Do you still build orchid houses? Really could use your help. Have mostly hanging vandas 35+ that I urgently need a home for. Please let me ASAP. Thanks.

Hi MiamiBorn, welcome to OB. I recommend that you start your own thread in this sub-forum. For one you'll get more replies, and secondly, the OP of this thread has not posted anything on Orchidboard in 5 years. You very likely won't get a reply from him.
