LMAO! I love it! If it fails, it fails, if it works, it works. I've spent 100K in the past on something that was worth, in the end, zilch...but that's a different story. The other LED's I saw for sale were four or five times the price. Could the 'supplemental' be supplemental to the sun? It may well be that I've believed the hype but that's OK. If ya don't try ya'll never know.

It's true that if you don't try, you'll never know. I like a product that is as close to natural sunlight as possible. If I can paint under the light and the colours look right, I figure that it is close to being like sunlight. My Sun blaster is in my studio and it is as close to natural light as possible. My OTT light that I use for painting gets used for my parrotlet in winter, as well as orchids at times.

I don't mind trying new things for the reasons I stated. I think that in my area - I'm at the same latitude as Hudson Bay - our days are pretty dark by 3.30pm so any additional, if ultimately minimally positive benefit, is better than the lanky growth I remember from years ago. It's no great shakes if it doesn't work and the occasional visit from the police suspecting other types of greenery being grown will make a welcome change and a 99% boost in visitors lmao.

Definitely! Any light is better than none, especially if you don't have to put a lot out in electricity. I hate to think of my brother's lighting bills! And he's on disability. Of coarse, he uses that as an excuse. His doctor will back him up, but the police don't buy it.
