1. Be sure and get the tie-down kit, maybe two. Houston as you've experienced, gets some strong winds.
2. What are your winter plans? You can get some chilly degrees (and snow) there, like last winter. (A friend posted some pix of about a half ton of frozen bannana plants)

ditto the tie downs...make sure you are tied down sufficient for the winds....and get an extra piece of shade cloth for the phals and paphs...they like it double thick....
