I bet your super happy! It looks great...and it looks like most of your orchids are in s/h! How nice that must be! I also have the same wood plant stand/table you have. It was my first real equipment I bought for my orchids when I first started out but quickly out grew it. The lights stopped working on it, do you still use the lights on yours?

Funny you should ask...
My light broke soon after I got the unit about 2 years ago.
When we were moving into the gh I was not sure I would even keep the stand but when I decided to my hubby wanted it in tip top shape
So we measured the length, ordered and installed a new similar style light on the bottom tier. It is a better light for orchids (T5 I think)
Ironically, I don't need the light though. Most of the other gh areas have sooo much light, that I have reserved this area for "shade".
So I just wrapped up the cord
Felt good though to "keep" the old table!

I would love to know what you used for a replacement! I have looked at replacements but haven't found anything low profile enough to fit under the shelf and not be right on top of the orchids......I still need ever bit of shelf space I can get

Becca,

Here is the link where we got the light: T5 Fluorescent Grow Light Systems for Plants from ACF Greenhouses

It is about one third down the list and called the "T5 Grow Light Fixture"
We got the one with two bulbs.
It is a bit longer than the one you have with the bench but it fits underneath just fine.

Wow thanks for the link! Is it the 2ft T5 Grow Light Fixture or the Ultra Grow? I didn't see where the 2ft T5 Grow Light is offered with two bulbs...sorry for high jacking or thread!

"on-demand", meaning tankless? But then what is the large blue tank next to the RO system?
