Suggestions for indoor greenhouse
I would like to get an indoor greenhouse, but I don't really know what to look for. I would appreciate your recommendations on where to buy one, or how to build one. Thanks.

I thought it might be easier to control the humidity and temperature. During the fall, winter, and early spring, our house is usually around 60 degrees. I don't have enough rooms in my house to devote a separate room to my orchids.

thats what i assumed, but i wasnt sure. the neptune greenhouse ended up looking really cheap and inexpensive. bad quality. it was like a shelf with a plastic 'coat' overtop. it is probably out of the question, unless you already have a bay window. but you can do a window g/h or put shelves in your bay window, if present. but your temperatures sound fine, depending on what you are growing.

I have one similar that we use for starting seeds indoors in the spring, since it's still so frigid outside in CO at that time.
I'd never put orchids in it though- not enough air circulation, and if you unzip the door to let air in, the increase in humidity is gone.
When put outside or in the sun from a window, it gets pretty warm.

Does that mean your orchids will be scattered around the house? That's how mine are- but the ones that need a bit more humidity stay in my room, where I have a small heater and humidifier.

All my orchids are scattered through the house - I use different zones for different plants, but I am about to lose my winter cool room as my son has decided to defer his return to University for the time being. I hope my Oncidium alliances will cope with winter at 15C/58F instead of12c/52F.
humidity is dependent on my drying washing in front of the radiator in the dining room, and using the sinks in the utility and kitchen, the bathroom gets too warm because that's the overflow radiator for the system so although it's periodically humid, its not good for thin leaves
