Just google Florian greenhouses, Becca. That should get you there. It was in one of the Carolinas.

Oh man, that is so exciting! I'm still in phase one - convincing my wife that a greenhouse is a good idea.

Hmmm, probably more like twice what we can afford. Ha. However, I'll just keep telling myself that it is cheaper than psychiatric care. Carol
PS We just found someone who isn't so expensive as the last guy to do the foundation and concrete floor. When there is a change, I'll send a picture. Or two.

Not much has been happening, so have not posted. City decided we needed to have an engineer sign off on snowload for greenhouse. Yikes! Another $600. Coulda been worse. Time elapsed and messed up the contractor's schedule for pouring the foundation. Had to get someone else. Supposed to show up tomorrow. I will post a picture if he does and it actually looks different. We were supposed to be done by now. Still excited. Carol

That's what you get for involving the officials. The bastards will probably raise your property taxes, too.
My experiences with township officials:
► The fenced part of our back yard when we bought a house was 100 square feet. Fine for the sellers Yorkie, not for our two Irish Setters. I asked if I needed a permit to "move" a fence - answer: "No, only to put up a new one." "How about if I need to fill in some space?" Still "No". Great. I moved that original 30' of fencing to the back of the yard, and added about 500 feet to enclose the whole yard.
► When inquiring about running a business from my home, I was told 1) I must be able to provide off-street parking. (No problem - double-wide driveway and we paved beside the garage as basketball court and spaces for the kids' cars), and 2) I was not allowed to have drive-in traffic, as it's a residence. That's right. I couldn't have customers come to my home, but I must have parking for them!
