I was going to publish an article about my new project but I found the process of getting it the way I wanted it just to daunting an effort so this is second best.... a picture of my project. Yes, PVC pipe and 4 mil Poly cover. I will be using a different shade cloth that I will be taking off of the other greenhouse.

What is the purpose of a 'summer house' ? I see you're in MI -- is it to get plants outside earlier in the spring / and stay out later in the fall ??

No, Charlie. It's because my Cattleya burn up in the direct sun and my year-round greenhouse doesn't get enough sun in the summer.
