Default Greenhouse Monday Afternoon

We are expecting 8" of the white stuff today and I just got back from East Lansing... driving was no fun!!! So I took a trip out to the greenhouse just to see what might be poppin....

Sunday was our local orchid society meeting and the speaker was Ron Ciesinski. Some of the locals (SE Michigan) may know him from Taylor Orchids. As is the custom at our gatherings, we have a vendor bring plants for sale... Ron brought lots of great stuff... Now, let's not have anyone getting their nose out of joint because I mentioned the name of a vendor... I'm not here to advertise; just part of my long-winded story.... Anyway, I usually don't purchase stuff at our meetings but he had some Bulbophyllum for what I thought was a reasonable price and well 4 plants later and down a few $$$ I had to find space in the greenhouse for B. wendlandianum (collettii), B. frostii, B. Louis Sander and this one that has a flower open and another spike on the way....

Ok, back to see what's going on in the greenhouse....

This flower have great substance and is waxy

Well I will try this a second time. First reply went blank screen.
Wow love the colors. I am green with envy wishing I could have all my orchids in my greenhouse all winter. The cost of propane and electric here is over the moon. I should have had a greenhouse attached to the greenhouse which would have been heated by the house furnace.

Great Growing Doc

Howard--
Will you be at the GLOS show this weekend? Very nice phals, I always appreciate the color of them, I wish I could find some cyms with the intense magenta that pahls often have.

WOW, that's a very intense cymbidium. Do you have the name? Beautiful display in the greenhouse too. I really like Christina and the one above Golden Peoker x Brother Oxford.

Howard, I will be at the show, we are setting up Tomorrow, but I don't know if I will be around on Sat. I should have a few cymbidiums for our display.
Your red looks a lot like Leodogran 'Holiday'; I assume that it is an intermediate? Any fragrance--Leo is slightly sweet smelling...
Adam
