Hold on... did I miss something??? Maybe we should continue this outside the thread???? But short reply yes you should be able to tap into the gas line at the furnace. Where you take it from there will depend on your current basement situation and just how much drywall you want to repair.... for me drywall and mud are cheap compared to permits, inspectors and and trade people....

I have a greenhouse kit that came with an electric heater as part of the package. Electricity is too costly for heating a greenhouse so I use the unit for backup heating. My structure would not handle a mounted vented heating unit so I use a "Blue Flame" natural gas heater from one of the Big Box stores.... they are all the same weather they come from some online mega greenhouse supply company or local store. Mine is a 20,000 Btu unit but they come in a 30,000 Btu size if you have a larger GH. My post on this thread on page 2 shows my setup.

God Morning, Becca. I purchased a kit through Costco because it was on sale. The vendor is called SunGlo in Washington, Sunglo Greenhouses
If one of their models would work for you, I'd purchase it through Costco... not a member, maybe a friend would help you out.... you can purchase a larger size after you order it by contacting the vendor directly. That is what I did. I know there are many vendors selling many different styles or types of greenhouses which makes the choice difficult. If I had to do again, I might go with something else... not that mine isn't a wonderful place for me and I spend lots of time in the GH but there are some things I don't like about it and these issues may be unique to my setup.

Doc. are all the pictures of plants you've grown and flowered? They are amazing and if so, you are better organized than I am. Do you use a computer program to keep track of your plants and blooms? If so which one or did you design it yourself?

Well Mo, yes all that you see in the greenhouse are plants that are at least 2 ~ 3 years under my care. The wife thinks it would be a great project to take my pictures and catalog what I have... I'm much too lazy to do all of that.... it's enough for my feeble brain to keep these chids alive!!!!!!! And there is no organization... I just try to get them all back into the greenhouse in the fall.... some years things fit better than other years... and then I tend to forget that maybe I purchased a few new plants and ponder for hours as to how the #*$%&# I'm going to get everybody inside!!!!
