Question repot in greenhouse?

do any of you work in your greenhouses? do you store pots, fertilizer, etc. in there? the reason i'm asking is because of the "sanitary" idea. my greenhouse is almost finished and i'm getting ready to fill it up!

I do work some in my gh but not a lot. I keep some chemicals and fertilizer on a shelf above the window.
I don't store pots, though. I keep them in the garage.

I keep my fertilizer in a cabinet in the A/C house, it goes bad out in the heat.

Everything else is out in the orchid room and that's where I work on the chids.

Use newspaper on your work surface and then you can just roll it up and throw it out. Clean/sterilize your clippers between plants. Fire is the best thing to use but I spray mine with Listerine and/or my alcohol/409 mix. (I don't always do what I'm told )

I don't store stuff in there (that's for the garden shed) but I do repot in there at times. I have left some bench space just for repotting.

I would think that if your temps drop below freezing it would be very wise to have a small space in the greenhouse for potting purposes. The last thing you would want is an orchid popsicle in the dead of winter. Well, unless your in to that kinda thing.

If I had a greenhouse I'd be in there all the time. It would be so nice to do potting in there! Relaxing, peaceful. I envy those with a greenhouse.

thank you gin i know about the "closet of horrors"! and "table tops of horrors" too--!

i'll use our little toolshed (which was our original "greenhouse"--a "no-light" greenhouse--big mistake, but it's a cute little house) to house tools, supplies, chemicals.
and i'll store pots, medium in the gh--i would like working in there. thank you!!
