An irrigation system??
Watering is probably the most labor intensive aspect to growing plants in a greenhouse. Years ago when I was working at a commerical grower the cymbidiums were being irrigated through a drip line system.
With my greenhouse being as crowded as it is I have reached the point that I hardly ever water the pots. My plants survive on the rain I provide with my pressure sprayer twice a day. While great for growing plants it forces me to segregate those that need dryness for flowering and with my space rather small such is almost an impossibility.
So I was wondering if setting up a drip line system in the greenhouse and even installing a solar pump system from my r/o unit to feed the greenhouse is a practical idea or just more work than it is worth??
Any thoughts?
