get well soon. it must be tough for you looking out the window, and not being able to get there. if you jave a particular plant that you are worried about; ask if you,re friend can bring some to you so you can rest at ease. and have a better look at them.

Hi Sheridan, I too agree with all the above re - how tough orchids are! so don't fret !! look after your knee so it gets better quicker and you can get back to your GH!

Thumbs up I'm back and the GH is empty!!

Hi everyone well I am back and getting around pretty well. Still going to therapy which is sometimes very hard. They work me pretty hard..
My daughter and I moved all the orchids out of the GH and back into the house for the winter. Its starting to get cold at night into the 30's and the mountains had their first snow they sure look pretty.
I am amazed at how well my orchids have done with out much care or watering. Its like they didn't even miss me . I am surprised to find so many with multiply spikes, keikis. I have 5 that were blooming when I went up to the GH to move them amazing. I even have a few with basal keikis but the plants themselves look fine.
My mounted orchids I thought would suffer the most but they are doing great one has a very large shealth and its opening up to show a large bud Yippee after two years watching them just hang there.
Even the last order I got that got somewhat frozen by being left in the UPS truck over a weekend. The ones that made it through are doing great one is even showing a spike.
The orchids are all on metal shelving units with grow lights. I can now enjoy my babies every day all day from the comfort of my easy chair.

Sheridan

Good to hear you are getting arround a bit more, and great to hear your orchids are doing OK. I love to have some of mine in my living room where I can enjoy them, it's great that yours are now in where you can enjoy them
