So I've got a great price on these 2' x 4' glass panels.
http://corporateportal.ppg.com/NR/rd...learthtone.pdf
That web site has the specs on this glass in the Table of Performance Values.
It indicates the glass has a visible transmittance of 17%.
I am trying to figure out if this glass is feasible to put in the roof of a greenhouse (45degree angle lean to w/ 4' knee wall type) I can get 20 panels for $25 each/ normally they are $27 per sq. foot.
What do you think, is this a waste of time. It looks to me as though supplemental lighting will be needed for seedlings, which would be the primary purpose.
Thanks,
Pete
